Samedi 27 avril 2019 à 18h les quinze Porte-drapeaux dont les nôtres Arlette et Pierre MAURIN, Jean-Jacques MAGNIER et Mattéo DALLA SANTA, pénètrent dans le jardin du Monument aux Morts dirigés par le Vice-président du Comité D’entente du Marmandais Michel GALLART.
Le temps est menaçant, le vent oblige les Porte-drapeaux à maintenir les étendards agités.
M. Jean-Christophe DALLA-SANTA, Conseiller Municipal, Délégué aux Anciens Combattants, maître de la cérémonie, ordonne le Garde-à-vous.
La cérémonie débute par le Chant des Marais, hymne de la déportation, chanté dans un silence de cathédrale.
Michel CAZADES, président, est fils de déporté, lit le message de l’association.
Marcel RAFFI lit le martyrologue, le nom des Déportés Marmandais morts dans les différents camps.
En France il ne reste plus qu’environ 200 Déportés encore vivants.
Les gerbes sont déposés par :
- deux filles de Déportés pour la Déportation
- le Vice-président du Comité pour les Anciens Combattants
- M. Daniel BENQUET, maire de Marmande, accompagné d’une dizaine d’enfants du Conseil enfants, dépose celle de la municipalité
- Mme BORDERIE, présidente du Conseil Départemental et le Conseiller Joël HOCQUELET, celle du Département
- M. Alexandre FRESCHI, député de Marmande, celle de l’arrondissement
- M. le sous-préfet Françis BIANCHI, le Commandant de la gendarmerie et le Capitaine des pompiers, celle de l’arrondissement Marmande-Nérac.
La musique joue la sonnerie « Aux Morts » après la Minute de Silence, la Marseillaise et l’hymne européen souhaité par le Gouvernement depuis cette année.
Toute l’assemblée a rejoint le hall de la gare où une stèle porte les noms de 2 cheminots morts en déportation et un fusillé à la prison de Toulouse.
Après le dépôt d’une gerbe, une Minute de Silence a été observée.
Les autorités ont remercié les Porte-drapeaux qui, malgré le vieillissement, sont toujours là, fidèles …
Le drapeau de la déportation était porté par Sam BUSQUET, petit-fils de déporté, et celui de nos Cadets par Mattéo DALLA SANTA, volontaire pour l’Union Fraternelle.
Notre président Jacky MALARTIC a remercié nos Porte-drapeaux, salué le président Robert DULIN, Ferdinand GAIGEARD et notre secrétaire et photographe Marie-Anne SIMON et sont excusés les malades et autres.
Il y a quelques jours, notre président a été souhaité son anniversaire à notre doyenne Jeanne CHARBONNET à Sainte-Bazeille où elle se « porte » bien et pense beaucoup à notre association.
J’ai porté le diplôme d’honneur à M. Daniel MANEROLE, car presque non-voyant maintenant, il n’était pas à notre assemblée.
Nous pensons faire les 100 ans de l’Union Fraternelle Marmandaise le 13 septembre 2019 vers 18 heures.
Le Président « veut » que nous soyons le plus possible. Notre association étant la plus ancienne de Marmande.

Mouvement de la 9ème symphonie écrite en 1823 par Ludwig BEETHOVEN.
Il est joué pour des rencontres entre pays européens pour la fraternité des hommes.
Mon opinion :
Lors de leurs assemblées générales du département une association d’Anciens Combattants revendique l’abolition d’une journée nationale. Ce n’est pas très Républicain pour cette association qui veut tout faire pour unir, et ne rien faire pour diviser !

Belle cérémonie ce vendredi 21 août 2015 au monument aux morts de Marmande pour célébrer sa libération.
Notre ami Jacky Malartic, Président de la Section Marmande de L'Union Fédérale des ACVG de Lot et Garonne était l'organisateur de cette belle cérémonie.
La Croix du Combattant et la Reconnaissance de la Nation a été remis à notre ami Joseph Miremont par le Président Départemental Mr Gabriel Pichon.
